"Han" in
Phrygia.....in the center of "Kybele country". As I saw this on the map I
couldn't resist going there.....The village situated in the middle of nowhere. Poor and
without anything special, that was my impression when I entered it

little vanity....after all this is "my" village
As I entered the central square I got a real shock....a
huge Kybele statue, together with Her lions. It took some time before I fully realized the
significance. Kybele openly "worshipped" in a village that is called
"Han". Who would have thought that this is possible in an Islamic country?
Anyway, a wonderful completion to my Phrygian adventure
