The catholic seminary "Casa de Espiritualidad"

Probably the founder of the seminary who prefers to be displayed as Green Man.....

In the "Casa de Espiritualidad" there is a staircase which has been installed not too long ago. It is located in the building  of the Collegium of the Isidoro church, in the part in which priest students are being trained. Spicy detail: the staircase contains various Green Men - who by the way look ugly, for they had to symbolize pagan heretics or even the devil himself - even more, there is also a sculpture of the Cosmic Mother with Her Green Man, so big, that it covers the entire wall....

The double face of the church. On the one hand pre-christian images are being dammed, on the other hand allowed even in important buildings, as warning, obviously....

Green Men not so much ugly, but suffering visibly. Their presence in a Catholic seminary could be considered as rehabilitation (?)....

SAVE THE GREEN MEN OF LEÓN

In front of the main portal of the  Cathedral there are various Green Men. They are unique, but unfortunately totally neglected. I feel so sorry for them! It doesn't seem that those responsible will restore them soon. Therefore my call. I will personally commit myself i.e.ask for help with various groups in León. Please, help!

These Green Beast/Men are equally in a deplorable state. They might be restored also!

In a chapel in the ambulatorium, a space that is traditionally dedicated to the Mother of God - I found two archaic images of Green Beasts/Men. Again the relationship between LINK: "Lady and the (Her) beasts..."
