The Summer Retreat is open to all those, who suffer from ego, while having a strong desire to giving it up.
The participants are neither seeking "personal growth", "wellness" or extension of experience ("Erlebnis"), nor "stress resistance", effectiveness in the workplace, "spiritual realisation" or "personal enlightenment". Instead, the Retreat is all about becoming part of the Whole (once again), including the promise of total inner and outer renewal.
Everything is based on Cosmic Insight":

We are part of the community
The community is part of the earth
The earth is part of the universe
The universe is part of the Eternal Light ("God")
The Eternal Light is part of Absolute Nothingness ("Cosmic Mother")

This notion is supported by both the ancient past as by modern physics.

New to Western experience is the beneficial "action" (out of non-action) of the Cosmic Womb as the Ego-Destroyer. The Medusa is a unique reminder of this, unparalleled in the West; hence our Retreat taking place on Corfu; the Black Madonna's are living examples too, while J.W. Goethe emphasized the "Eternal Feminine" as the Source of "death and rebirth". The breakthrough happened in 1977 through the Revelation of the Cosmic Mother. It is confirmed by cosmology and (astro)physics, where the universe is continuously born and reborn through the Cosmic Vacuum, of which "Black Holes" are a direct manifestation.

Participants to the Retreat are sympathetic to this principle, making it the centre of their ego-surrender.

In order to save the world
you have to become All
In order to become All
you have to give up your ego
In order to give up your ego
you have to become Nothingness
In order to become Nothingness
you have to surrender to the Cosmic Mother

This is the core of my teaching

Your disposition - opening up your heart - is decisive. It brings your in direct contact with the Origin. SermeS' role is that of a guide, a cosmic friend/facilitator/coach if you like, helping you on your way back to the Mother. She is the last authority (not he), Her Emptiness (beyond Emptiness) is the Source of every true Renewal. Soon (in the course of the Retreat) you will experience the joy of ego-lessness. Actually, life appears to happen beween the poles of the Infinite on one hand and the ego on the other. It makes the Retreat an inclusive event of effort and let-go, of awareness and play, of discipline and foolishness, of stillness and bliss, of inner space and the beauty of nature around them, of experiencing the Divine in themselves and others, of joy and gratefulness.
You may come with every kind of condition, predicament, disorder - from stress, burn-out, worries, loneliness to angst, depression, relational problems, high blood pressure and cancer, provided you yourself consider your ego as the main problem. Secondly, you should be in such a condition, that no additional medical assistence, provided by us, is needed. If something serious happens to your health, you have to consult a local physician.
SermeS' experience with Retreats dates back to the time of his Threefold Cosmic Realization (1977). Before and after (1972-1998) he organized many so-called "Fasting-Meditation" courses. The expertise is considerable, including the spiritual, the psychological and the medical. Much inspiration came from one year stay in Japan (1990), where he taught Zen to Japanese. The daily schedule in the monastery revealed the value of spiritual discipline to him. Further volunteer work included his 5 month's Pilgrim Care along the Camino de Santiago, Spain, together with his wife MeiMei. Last but not least the gentle and spontaneous way Sri Ramakrishna taught his disciples in his ashram of Dakshineswar Kali Temple, near Calcutta, moved him a lot. The Main Source of inspiration comes from within, though. He hopes to be a good guide to you all. The organization of the Retreat is inspired by all these experiences. As a "Wandering Pilgrim Site" the practical part is necessarily provisional e.g. depending on improvisation. Fixed are the above-mentioned schedules. Other elements can be added to it, depending on need, circumstances and creative impulses. Examples are fasting, sacred walks in nature, celebrations (dance), helping with treating locals (for free) for their pain problems (with our highly effective Chinese Guasha Therapy). The programmes are optional e.g. not obligatory, although it is highly recommended to attend them all. In between there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy the island. Accomodation and catering have to be organized by yourself.

"The profoundest instinct in man is to war against the truth; that is, against the Real. He shuns facts from his infancy. His life is a perpetual evasion. Miracle, chimera and to-morrow keep him alive. He lives on fiction and myth. It is the Lie that makes him free. Animals alone are given the privilege of lifting the veil of Isis; men dare not. The animal, awake, has no fictional escape from the Real because he has no imagination. Man, awake, is compelled to seek a perpetual escape into Hope, Belief, Fable, Art, God, Socialism, Immortality, Alcohol, Love. From Medusa-Truth he makes an appeal to Maya-Lie."
